Science communication and outreach, especially to global audiences in English, is taking off in Japan. Japan Scicom Forum brings together communicators, writers, scientists, journalists and select experts from abroad to inspire and boost the cohesion of scicom in Japan, learn new skills, network, and inform the community with best practices. Keynote talks and panel discussions in the morning will reflect on the unique challenges and opportunities of research communication within and beyond Japan. Afternoon breakout workshops will provide hands-on training to support communicators and scientists working in Japan as they engage in global outreach. Registration is free and the event will be in English.
