Sessions
Workshop 1: Global to Local Science Communication
In this workshop, Kelly will present a brief overview of public engagement with science from the perspectives of the International Astronomical Union’s National Outreach Coordinator Network, managed by the Office for Astronomy Outreach. This network represents more than 120 countries, with over 300 members worldwide. In learning about their experiences, we will discuss how to incorporate lessons from the global stage into local science communications practices and how to tailor events for your audience.
